Joint online seminar with "Qazpatent" NIIP

The traditional Science Month "Science Will Save the World" continues at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. As part of this large-scale event aimed at popularizing science and innovation, various scientific meetings, seminars, and discussion platforms are being organized.

Within the Science Month, the National Institute of Intellectual Property of Kazakhstan ("Qazpatent") in collaboration with the Technology and Innovation Support Center of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University held a seminar titled "Intellectual Property: Amendments and additions to the Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

The organizer and moderator of the seminar was Uldana Shalabaeva, Head of the Coordination Department of the Center for Patent Research and Technology and Innovation Support. She also delivered a report on "Intellectual Property: Amendments and additions to the Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan," highlighting the main changes and innovations in this area.

Representatives from "Qazpatent" also delivered insightful reports. Particularly, Kirkbayev Alimzhan Tulegenovich, Chief Expert of the Copyright Department, presented a report on "Copyright", discussing the mechanisms for protecting copyright and their significance. Sayat Asanovich Shiderbekov, Head of the Department for Registration of Contracts for the Exercise of Rights to Industrial Property Objects, delivered a report on "Main forms of use of industrial property objects and transfer of rights", sharing practical aspects.

The event was attended by scientists, faculty, staff, and students of the university, who exchanged views on current issues in the field of intellectual property.

This seminar served as an important platform for the development of science and innovation, as well as for fostering a culture of protecting intellectual property rights.
