Korkyt Ata University grant and 1 million tenge – prizes for the "AMANAT IDEATHON" hackathon winners

The "AMANAT IDEATHON" hackathon, dedicated to innovative ideas with social significance, has successfully concluded at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. This large-scale event was organized in collaboration with "Kyzylorda Hub" and the "Amanat" party and with sponsorship from the advertising agency "Shik".

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the university, Nauryzbay Baikadamov, wished the participants good luck at the opening ceremony. The main goal of the hackathon was to support the initiatives of schoolchildren and students aimed at solving pressing social problems, to create conditions for the implementation of their ideas into real projects, and to develop the innovative potential of the younger generation. Participants had the opportunity not only to present their ideas but also to refine them in practice, defending concrete solutions. 

The chairman of the "AMANAT" party’s regional branch, Zhandos Bazartai, delivered a speech at the event opening, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for the youth of the region.

Within the hackathon, participants presented projects in five directions: PropTech & CityTech – improving the transparency of housing management systems and implementing "smart" city solutions; MedTech – developing innovative services in digital healthcare; LegalTech – increasing the accessibility of legal assistance and reducing bureaucratic barriers; EdTech – developing platforms for inclusive education and digital career guidance; Community Tech – strengthening social support and offering digital solutions to connect volunteers with citizens in need.

Approximately 200 young specialists from Astana, Aktobe and Karaganda regions, as well as from Kyzylorda city and all its districts, participated in the competition, presenting around 100 projects.

In the final stage, the best projects were selected, and the winners were determined. Mukhamedzhanova Korkem Zhandosqyzy, an 11th-grade student from School-Lyceum №35 in Syrdarya district, distinguished herself with her project and received an educational grant from Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Besides, Zholdasbek Madibek and Yerasyl Sarybayev, who presented the mobile application "Qozy" for teaching English to children with special educational needs in a playful manner, were awarded a cash prize of 1 million tenge.

During the event, the youngest participants and representatives from Aktobe region team also received special commemorative gifts. This project, designed to stimulate the innovative development of the region by supporting fresh youth ideas and their implementation into concrete projects, provided participants with valuable experience and new opportunities.
