University students took second place at the national academic competition

The “Shamshyrak” team from Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University achieved significant success at the republican level.

The 18th National subject olympiad in the field of “Social work” was held at the Karaganda University of Consumer cooperatives in Karaganda city.

Students from the country’s leading higher education institutions participated in this popular science competition, exchanging knowledge and experience.

During the Olympiad, participants presented the material and technical resources of their universities, educational programs, and the achievements and successes of students in the field of social work. 

The competition consisted of two stages: in the first, participants analyzed case studies on current issues in the social sphere, and in the second, they defended their research projects.

At the conclusion of the competition, the “Shamshyrak” team from Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University demonstrated a high level of preparation, taking an honorable second place.

The team, led by Meruert Omirzakova, Ph.D. in Economics and Senior Lecturer, included students from study groups SR-23-1 and SR-23-5: Nuraina Bakbergenkyzy, Lazzat Zhanarysova, and Aisana Tursynbay, who participated in the national subject olympiad.

This achievement is clear evidence that the university’s students receive a high-quality education and are capable of demonstrating a high level of professional competence in the field of social work.
