A JOURNEY INTO THE WORLD OF ABAI

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University hosted an intellectual competition titled "A journey into Abai’s world", dedicated to popularizing the rich heritage of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev. During this educational contest, students demonstrated not only their knowledge but also their sharp intellect and wisdom.

At the beginning of the competition, participants were presented with comprehensive information about the poet's life and work. Subsequently, students, by selecting special cells, answered questions related to Abai's life journey and spiritual legacy, competing against each other.

Following intense competition, the prize-winning places were determined. The first place was secured by the team "Children of wisdom" from №3 dormitory, "Dilmash-3". The second place went to the team "Guardians of the edification words" from dormitory №3, and the third place was taken by the team "Abai's testament" from the Pedagogy and Traditional Art Institute.

Besides, participants who distinguished themselves with exceptional preparation were awarded special nominations. Students from dormitory №5 received the "Young Abai scholars" nomination, students from the Pedagogy and Traditional Art Institute – "Abai's followers", and students from the Economics and Law Institute – "Creative research team". All students who actively participated in the competition were presented with books and special gifts as a token of respect.

This event has increased students' interest in their national spiritual heritage and provided an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Abai's legacy.
