LECTURE HALL OF THE YOUNG VOTERS' CLUB OPENED

A lecture hall for the Young Voters' Club has been opened at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Nurlan Abdirov, met with young people at the Korkyt Ata University. More than 400 young voters participated in the event. During the meeting, held in an open dialogue format as part of the republican forum "Youth and Elections," pressing issues of the popular will expression process were widely discussed.

At the important gathering, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University, Nauryzbay Baikadamov, analyzed the mechanisms for the precise implementation of electoral legislation within the "Law and Order" principle. He also emphasized the particular importance of enhancing the professional potential of voters participating in the electoral process and strengthening the connection between science and practice.

Representatives from the Central Election Commission, members of Young Voters' Clubs from all regions of the country, chairmen of territorial election commissions of the regions, cities of Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent, as well as members of the election commissions of Kyzylorda region participated in the event.

The Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Nauryzbay Baikadamov, and the Chairman of the Kyzylorda Regional Territorial Election Commission, Adilbek Yersultanov, signed a memorandum of cooperation during the forum.

Nurlan Abdirov detailed the main directions for organizing the electoral process in his speech, noted the work of the country's electoral bodies, dialogue platforms under the Central Election Commission, and issues of international cooperation. Special attention was paid to the formation of electoral culture among youth.

The meeting continued in a question-and-answer format, where participants discussed international experience in organizing elections, the digitalization of the electoral process, and the training of election commission members.

Furthermore, participants actively engaged in an online survey on pressing issues of the electoral agenda, including recommendations from the OSCE ODIHR (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights).

One of the significant innovations of the meeting, which brought together participants from all regions of the country, was the opening of the lecture hall for the Young Voters' Club at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. In this specially equipped hall, students will be able to delve deeper into the subject of "Electoral Law," as well as attend guest lectures and practical meetings with representatives of election commissions.

As part of the event, active participants were awarded publications on electoral topics, developed on the initiative of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Some of these works were also donated to the university's library fund.

Forum participants got acquainted with the renovated building intended to support the activities of the territorial election commissions of Kyzylorda region and the city of Kyzylorda.

Projects by future voters, examples of school presidential elections, as well as 3D graphics and decorative and applied arts on electoral themes were presented within the event.

Besides, the online assistant "Daryn AI" was introduced. This service is integrated into the application for finding polling stations and answers voters' main questions in text and audio formats.

A republican off-site seminar on the topic "Current Issues of Electoral Campaigns: Practical Analysis and Programmatic Tasks" was also held. During the meeting, the main directions of electoral campaigns were comprehensively analyzed, and practical issues were discussed. Participants who contributed to the organization of the republican referendum also received special awards.
