The Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation is now accepting applications for the YDL Summer Program!

Yessenov Data Lab is a rigorous 4-week intensive designed to equip young Kazakhstani scientists and professionals with advanced big data analysis skills.

 Key Dates & Details:

Application Deadline: April 28

Number of Grants: 20 winners

Program Dates: June 17 – July 13, 2026

Phase 1 (Online): June 15 – June 26

Phase 2 (In-person): June 29 – July 10 in Almaty

Coverage: The Foundation covers airfare and accommodation for winners from outside Almaty. Meals are provided for all participants.

 What will you gain?

Deep Dive into AI: Finally understand exactly how neural networks function.

Demystify Tech: Stop viewing LLMs as "magic" and start seeing the logic.

Team Development: Gain hands-on experience in collaborative coding and development.

Networking: Expand your professional circle and connect directly with industry experts.

 The Curriculum:

The program covers Python, Chatbot Development, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Computer Vision.

New for 2026: We are dedicating an entire week to AI Agent Development! Learn from top-tier professors, local experts, and international guest speakers.

Upon completion, participants will receive a Yessenov Data Lab Certificate and an academic transcript from AlmaU, compliant with the international educational standards of the Bologna Process.

 Who should apply?

We are looking for citizens of Kazakhstan (18+) who are: undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD students, active professionals in technical or natural science fields.
