THE 40-YEAR HISTORY OF THE KUMKOL COMPANY FORMED THE BASIS OF THE BOOK

As part of the "Science Will Save the World – IV Science Month" program, a rich, educational and spiritual evening was held at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. A book dedicated to Galym Baimanov, a man who became the pride of Aral region and one of the first professionals in the oil and gas industry, was presented to a wide audience.

This work, a valuable world based on memories and data that have stood the test of time, sums up the 40th anniversary of the Kumkol mine's development. During the event, Kali Omarov, a member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, spoke enthusiastically about the moral life and creative aspects of Galym Baimanov. He described Galym Baimanov as not only a master of production but also a deeply thoughtful and spiritually uplifted individual.

In his speech, the book's author, Nurlybek Mynzhas, touched on the developmental stages of the oil industry, emphasizing that Galym Baimanov was one of the first pioneers in this field. He described Baimanov's life as a destiny built on perseverance and exploration, noting that the life experiences accumulated through his diaries became the core of his work today. "These aren't just notes; they are a diary of goals and ideals, of work and exploration", the author said.

That evening, Zhumabay Kuliev, a member of the Writers' Union, dedicated his heartfelt poem and recited his poem "My falcon flew over the mountain". The veterans who contributed to the development of the Kumkol field were also recognized, and the floor was given to one of the first discoverers, Kabylbek Kystaubayev. In his speech, he recalled the challenges and achievements over the field's 40-year history and thanked the authors of the book for their work. 

Zhandos Bazartai, chairman of the Amanat party regional branch, also spoke at the introductory meeting, noting the start of construction of the national library in the region. He described this event as a continuation of the successful initiatives undertaken on the eve of Book Day and praised the work of the authors.

The event was attended by energy industry veterans, oil workers, industry specialists, and intellectuals. Among them were Mukhit Karimbayev, Serik Azharov, Kabylbek Kystaubayev, Galym Kurmanbayev, Zhumabay Kuliev, and other distinguished guests. Geology students were also present and benefited from the insightful discussion.

At the end of the evening, a ceremonial book presentation took place, and the audience, filled with spiritual joy, warmly received the first copies. This work was seen not only as the biography of one man, but also as a chronicle of an entire era, a valuable legacy dedicated to the history and fate of Aral littoral oil industry.
