KORKYT ATA UNIVERSITY HOSTS PATRIOTIC EVENING DEDICATED TO A DOUBLE CELEBRATION

A festive event dedicated to the Fatherland Defenders’ Day and Victory Day was held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The university staff and students participated in the celebratory evening, which promoted a patriotic spirit.

At the event, the Vice-Rector for academic affairs, Dana Abdrasheva, delivered a welcoming speech, congratulating everyone on the double holiday. In her message, the Vice-Rector noted that this year marks the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She also emphasized that the educational institution has a military department, which has been operating for 26 years, and spoke about its important role in strengthening the country's defense capabilities.

It should be noted that the university's military department, founded in 2000, has trained over 3,000 young specialists.

The solemn assembly continued with a patriotic festive concert. During the event, stage performances by students, as well as creative numbers by students from the military department, were presented, which captured the audience's attention. Besides, songs performed by young artists added a special mood to the evening.

The festive event was aimed at fostering a sense of patriotism among the youth and strengthening respect and responsibility towards the Motherland.
