UNIVERSITY DELEGATION VISITS VECTOR AGR COMPANY

The Chinese company develops intelligent agricultural technologies in the field of Smart Agriculture. Key areas include agricultural drones, autopilot and auto-steering systems, RTK navigation, digital agricultural platforms, and unmanned ground vehicles.

According to company representatives, Vector AGR, with over 320 R&D specialists, currently operates in more than 60 countries and invests over 20% of its revenue in scientific research and new technology development.

During the meeting, the following were presented:

·                Intelligent farming systems;

·                Precision navigation technologies;

·                Agricultural drone management platforms;

·                AI and IoT-based solutions for agriculture;

·                Digital agro-analytics and the HD digital agriculture platform.

A significant feature of Vector AGR's concept is not just the production of equipment, but the creation of an ecosystem for managing the entire agricultural cycle based on data. This direction is particularly relevant for Kyzylorda region.

In Kyzylorda region, issues of rice cultivation, water resource management, and digitalization of the agricultural sector are of strategic importance. In this context, Vector AGR's technologies enable:

·       Implementation of precision farming systems;

·       Precise application of agrochemicals;

·       Yield forecasting;

·       Formation of a digital management system for farmers.

For Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, this direction opens up new opportunities:

·       Establishment of a Smart Agriculture Lab;

·       Providing students with the opportunity to work with real production data;

·       Formation of a regional center for agrotechnological innovation.
