KORKYT ATA UNIVERSITY: "FINANCIAL LITERACY WEEK WITH FREEDOM BANK"

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University hosted meetings for students as part of the "Financial literacy week with Freedom Bank". During the event, the fundamentals of financial literacy and methods of protection against fraudulent schemes were discussed.

The main goal of the week is to enhance the financial literacy of young people, teach them how to use financial products wisely, and develop skills to protect themselves from fraudulent activities. Students gained knowledge about personal budget planning, saving money, and financial security rules.

Bank specialists Askhat Katai and Kanat Kalabayev provided students with information on personal finance management, responsible credit behavior, investment basics, fraudulent schemes (vishing, phishing, fake investment offers, social media scams, etc.), and the dangers of "drop-shipping" (consequences of transferring bank cards to third parties and criminal liability) during the meetings.

Such meetings help students understand how to protect their money and personal data, as well as identify illegal actions.
