THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM SERVED AS THE VENUE FOR THE MEETING

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Nauryzbay Baikadamov, met with a foreign scholar as part of the international cooperation on the Erasmus+ project 101237042 – MERCAS, aimed at studying the environmental problems of the Aral Sea basin. 

Professor of Nukus State University Asiya Tureniyazova, a Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, who arrived at the university on an official visit, met with the university's management and the scientific team, discussing opportunities for implementing joint research projects.

The parties reviewed directions for developing international cooperation in higher education, strengthening academic ties, and conducting joint research during the meeting. The relevance of scientific initiatives aimed at improving the ecological situation in Aral littoral region was also particularly highlighted.

As part of her visit, Asiya Tureniyazova will hold meetings with the university's faculty to exchange experience and scientific opinions.
