A REPUBLICAN SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY

A republican scientific and practical conference titled "Current problems of fodder crop production in Aral region of Kazakhstan and the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence technologies" was organized at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The scientific gathering was dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Duysen Nurymov and the 60th anniversary of the university's Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Raushan Nurymova.

At the opening ceremony, Mainura Buribaeva, Board Member – Vice-Rector for research and international relations, delivered a speech, highlighting Duysen Nurymov's significant contribution to science and education.

From 1993 to 2009, Duysen Nurymov headed the Department of "Technology of agricultural production" at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University, and from 2009 to 2014, he worked as a professor in this department. In 2018, he was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University.

The works and scientific legacy of the scientists were widely discussed during the conference. Serikbay Koshkarov, Professor of the "Water management and land management" educational program, spoke about the life path and scientific activities of Duysen Nurymov, while Professor Ibadulla Tautenov particularly emphasized his contribution to the development of agricultural science. Kanagat Begaliev, a representative of the Y. Zhakayev Kazakh Research Institute of rice farming, spoke about the significance of the scientist's scientific heritage.

At the end of the event, the best students were awarded, and participants took commemorative photographs.
