Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University announces a competition to fill the vacant position of System Administrator (part-time) in the Infrastructure Solutions Department

To participate in the competition, applicants must submit the following documents:

1)    Application form to participate in the competition;

2)    Copy of the identity document of the applicant;

3)    Service record / CV (curriculum vitae) of the applicant with a 3*4 cm color photograph;

4)    Copies of educational diplomas and transcripts, along with the original documents for verification purposes;

5)    Copy of employment record (work book), certified by the Human Resources department of the current or most recent place of employment;

6)    List of scientific works and inventions (if applicable);

7)    Medical Certificate Form No.075/u ("Medical certificate/ professional medical conclusion"), pursuant to the Order of the Acting Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020, No. RK HCM-175/2020 (Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 4, 2020, No.21579);

8)    Certificate of presence or absence of a criminal record, issued by the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 Failure to submit a complete set of documents in accordance with the list above shall constitute grounds for an informal rejection of the application.

Applicants are entitled to provide additional information regarding their education and professional level (list of scientific publications, letters of recommendation from previous employers), as well as documents confirming their work experience and qualifications.

The System Administrator must be aware: Legislative and regulatory legal acts governing information technology and systems; General principles of hardware and software functioning and architecture; Fundamentals of network administration and programming; Methods of programming and utilizing computer equipment for information processing, as well as network server resources; Troubleshooting methods for resolving network user issues and technical problems; Technical and operational characteristics, design features, purposes, and operating modes of equipment, as well as its maintenance procedures; Network hardware and software; Principles of basic hardware repair; Standardized programming languages, current standards, number systems, ciphers, and codes; Advanced programming methods; Comprehensive information security management systems; Methods for preventing unauthorized access to information; Procedures for processing and maintaining technical documentation; Fundamentals of economics, production organization, labor, and management; Labor legislation, internal labor regulations, occupational health and safety standards, industrial sanitation, and fire safety requirements.

Qualification Requirements: Higher (or postgraduate) education in the relevant field of training with at least 1 year of work experience; OR: Technical and vocational, post-secondary (secondary specialized, secondary vocational) education in the relevant specialty (qualification) with at least 3 years of work experience in the specialty.

Application Deadline: June 15, 2026, until 17:00 (5:00 PM). The date and venue of the competition will be announced additionally.
