RECTOR ASSESSES THE READINESS OF NEW INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

The rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Nauryzbay Baikadamov, inspected the infrastructure facilities located in academic facility No.5, controlled the progress of construction works, and assessed the readiness of the facilities.

During the inspection, the university head  got acquainted with the operation of the boiler room, built within the “Engineering Park” project. As part of the project, two modern boilers were installed, each with a capacity of 1,815 kW. The total thermal capacity of this system is 3,630 kW, which provides constant heating for university buildings with a total area of over 36,000 square meters.

The new boiler room provides heat to the recently constructed Engineering Park building, academic facility No.5, the “Zhiger” dining hall, student dormitories No.3 and No.4, as well as a new 500-bed dormitory currently under construction.

Construction works are currently proceeding according to the approved schedule. The project is expected to be completed in 9 months. The rector gave specific instructions to the responsible specialists to ensure high-quality construction and timely completion of the work during an inspection of the objects.
