UNIVERSITY SCIENTIST PARTICIPATED IN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM
Islam Kurmaniyazov, a lecturer and Doctor of Philosophy in the "History and Archaeology" educational program at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, participated in the international scientific symposium "Nomadic Culture of Saryarka: Secrets of the Great Steppe – Taldy", which took place in Karaganda region.
At the international scientific gathering, scholars from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Germany, Hungary and Russia discussed issues related to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, modern methods of archaeological research, and international cooperation.

Within the symposium, participants got acquainted with the Bronze Age monuments of the Taldy archaeological park and shared the results of their latest archaeological research. Besides, guests were introduced the traditional culture, crafts, and national sports of the Kazakh folk.
