UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WIN XII ALMATY TECH CUP INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Students from the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University achieved outstanding results at the XII Almaty Tech Cup International Championship, one of the largest engineering and robotics competitions in Central Asia, securing first place in the RoboCup Rescue category.

Almaty Tech Cup XII is an international open championship in robotics, programming, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and engineering technologies for the Governor of Almaty City Cup. This year, the competition, held under the theme "Age of AI", was organized at the Almaty Arena sports complex in Almaty.

Over 3,000 participants and approximately 400 teams from all regions of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries took part in this large-scale competition, vying in 14 technological fields.

The Korkyt Ata University team, consisting of Alizhan Sharipzhan, Ayan Akhmetkarim, and Yernur Kanattan, claimed first place in the RoboCup Rescue category. They demonstrated high performance in the stages of autonomous robot programming, overcoming complex obstacles, developing navigation systems, effectively utilizing sensors, and completing rescue tasks.

This achievement once again showcases the high level of engineering thinking among the students, their programming proficiency, team cohesion, and their skills in effectively solving complex problems.
