ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION HELD TO MARK ASTANA DAY

A roundtable discussion dedicated to Astana Day, titled “The Role of valiant Astana in the modernization of society”, was held in the main academic facility of Korkyt Ata 6Kyzylorda University.

Participants exchanged views on Astana’s historical significance in the development of independent Kazakhstan during the event, its role in renewing the country’s public consciousness, its contribution to socioeconomic growth, and its place in the process of modern urbanization. The capital’s achievements in the fields of science, education, culture, and innovation were also widely discussed.

Zhandos Bazartai, head of the “Adilet” Party Kyzylorda regional branch, delivered a presentation at the roundtable, in which he spoke in detail about Astana’s significance in defining the strategic direction of the country’s development.

The event was attended by Nurlybek Mynzhas, Head of the Scientific Research Coordination Department; Kydyrbay Utkelbaev, Head of the “History and Archaeology” public organization; Kydyrbay Utkelbaev, the head of the International Projects and Scholarships Group and associate professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation, Temirbolat Kenshinbay, and Editor-in-Chief Kali Omarov. They noted that Astana has become an important driving force for the country’s sustainable development and social modernization, and emphasized the great significance of such informative meetings in shaping young people’s civic stance.

During the open discussion, participants also addressed issues related to young people’s contribution to the country’s development, the promotion of national values, and social renewal.
