NEW DISSERTATION COUNCIL ESTABLISHED AT KORKYT ATA UNIVERSITY

In accordance with Order No. 564 issued by the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on July 22, 2026, a new Dissertation Council has been established at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The council is authorized to award the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of "8D086 – Water Resources and Water Use" (educational program "8D08675 – Land Reclamation, Restoration, and Protection"). The council will operate until July 21, 2029.

Pursuant to the Committee’s decision, the composition of the Dissertation Council was approved by Order No. 470-a of the Rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, dated July 31, 2026.

The establishment of this new Dissertation Council is a clear indicator of the university's dynamic development in scientific potential and the training of academic personnel. This initiative will contribute to enhancing the quality of research in the fields of efficient water resource management, land reclamation, restoration, and protection, while supporting the research endeavors of young scientists and strengthening the region's scientific and innovation capacity.
