"Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University" NJSC announces a competition to fill the following vacant positions

To participate in the competition, the following documents must be submitted:

1)    Application for participation in the competition;

2)    Copy of the identity document;

3)    Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a 3x4 cm color photograph;

4)    Copies of educational certificates and their transcripts (originals must be presented for verification);

5)    Copy of the employment record book, certified by the HR department of the current or most recent place of employment;

6)    A presentation of a project related to the educational program for the vacant faculty position (in electronic format, no more than 7 slides) and an online lecture/class for faculty positions (with the online version provided on an electronic storage device);

7)    List of scientific publications and inventions (if any);

8)    Medical certificate Form No. 075/u ("Medical professional-consultative report") in accordance with the Order of the Acting Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2020, No. KR DSM-175/2020 (Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 4, 2020, No. 21579);

9)    Certificate of the presence or absence of criminal records issued by the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The submission of an incomplete set of documents, as set out in the list provided for in this paragraph, shall constitute grounds for refusing to accept the application in any form.

Participants have the right to submit additional information regarding their education and professional level (list of scientific publications, letters of recommendation from previous employers), as well as documents confirming their work experience and qualifications.

Senior Lecturer must be aware of: the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", "On Science", "On Anti-Corruption", "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan", and other regulatory legal acts governing the functioning and development of the higher education system; academic and scientific disciplines within their field of specialization; theory and methods of educational system management; procedures for developing curricula; rules for maintaining academic documentation; pedagogy, physiology, and psychology; methods of vocational training; modern forms and methods of teaching and student development; fundamentals of economics and labor legislation; as well as occupational health, safety, and fire protection regulations.

Qualification requirements for a Senior Lecturer:

Higher (or postgraduate) education, at least 5 years of scientific and pedagogical experience, including at least one year in a lecturer position, or at least 3 years of practical work experience in the relevant specialty (field of activity), and/or holding an academic degree.

Application deadline: August 30th, 2026, until 5:00 PM. The date and venue of the competition will be announced additionally.
