1,592 dormitory places are provided for the 2026–2027 academic year

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University is currently working on providing student housing for the 2026-2027 academic year. To date, the university has prepared 1,592 places for student accommodation.

712 of these places are in three university-owned dormitories: Dormitory No.3 (256 places), Dormitory No.5 (400 places), and Dormitory No.8 (56 places).

Besides, 880 places are provided in dormitories funded through contractual agreements via the "Financial Center" JSC. These include 520 places in "DilMash", 210 in "Inkar-7", and 150 in "Orkeniet" dormitories.

Currently, the university has received 1,139 applications for housing.

When allocating places, the university considers the year of study, student category, and the specifics of the educational process. Dormitory No.5 primarily houses first-year students and ethnic Kazakhs (kandastar) entering their first year.

Dormitory No.3 accommodates international students from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and China, as well as senior ethnic Kazakh students and other senior students. Dormitory No.8 is designated for 50 students arriving for summer school, as well as students participating in external and internal academic mobility programs.

The "DilMash" dormitories house students from the 1st to 4th years: "DilMash-3" accommodates 1st and 2nd-year students, while "DilMash-2" houses 3rd and 4th-year students. These dormitories primarily serve students from the Institutes of Humanities and Pedagogy, Economics and Law, Pedagogy and Traditional Arts and Natural Sciences.

"Inkar-7" dormitory accommodates 2nd to 4th-year students, including those from the Institutes of Natural Sciences, Artificial Intelligence, and Engineering and Technology. The "Orkeniet" dormitory is intended for 3rd and 4th-year students.

To ensure comfortable living conditions, special attention is paid to the digitalization of the application process. The "Stud House" electronic information platform has been developed to this end. Currently works are fulfilled to improve the platform, address identified shortcomings and enhance user convenience.

As part of the preparations for the new academic year, the university continues to work on the efficient allocation of dormitory places, taking into account the social status of students and ensuring they have access to comfortable housing.
