KYZYLORDA: NEW HORIZONS IN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION FOR YOUTH

Madiyar Bazarbay, a student at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, participated in a summer educational program at Keimyung University in Daegu, South Korea, becoming the sole representative from Kazakhstan in the project.

Madiyar Bazarbay was selected for the international program, organized under the Korea Foundation (KF) Global e-School Fellowship Program, due to his high academic achievements. To qualify for the program, students must first complete a 15-week course of lectures on Korean history and culture, followed by a selection process based on their academic performance. The top-performing students are then given the opportunity to travel to South Korea to enhance their knowledge further during the summer semester.

The student was able to delve deeper into the history and culture of Korea and exchange experiences in an international environment during the program. Besides, he improved his academic knowledge and tested his potential in a new setting.

"It was a great honor for me to represent my country as the only participant from Kazakhstan on the international stage. This trip allowed me not only to deepen my knowledge and broaden my horizons, but also to gain new experience. International cooperation should not be viewed merely as sending students abroad. In my opinion, it is a vital strategic direction that makes the advanced experience and opportunities of the global educational and scientific space accessible to the youth of our region", noted Madiyar Bazarbay.

Madiyar’s participation in the international program is one of the tangible results of state policy aimed at integrating higher education and science into the international arena. In line with the instructions of the Head of State, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education is strengthening international academic ties and creating new opportunities for young people to enter the global educational space. Such initiatives expand the knowledge horizons of Kazakhstani students and pave the way for increasing their competitiveness at the international level.
