THE GRAND OPENING OF THE “65 YEARS OF HUMANITY IN SPACE” INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR WAS HOLD

An opening ceremony for an international seminar marking the 65th anniversary of human spaceflight took place at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

Foreign guests were shown the rare books collection, with a detailed account given of the history and uniqueness of these valuable publications during the event.

At the ceremonial gathering, Dana Abdrashova, Vice-Rector for academic affairs, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasising the significance of this international meeting. She noted that such events contribute to the development of cooperation between countries in the fields of education, science and culture. Alexander Izmaylov, Director of the autonomous non-profit organisation “Dialogue of Cultures”, wished the seminar participants success in their work.

Representatives from various countries spoke about their nations and higher education institutions, and shared their experiences in the above-mentioned fields. The meeting included discussions on developing mutual cooperation, exchanging experiences and strengthening international ties.

The international forum was attended by students and coordinators from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia and China, representatives of the “Dialogue of Cultures” autonomous non-profit organisation, as well as staff and students from the university.

It should be noted that the international seminar “65 Years of Humanity in Space” will take place from September 6^th to 11^th. The event is organised by Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University with financial support from the “Dialogue of Cultures” ANO.
