12 UNIVERSITY APPLICANTS HAVE BEEN AWARDED EDUCATIONAL GRANTS BY THE “KAZAKHSTAN HALQYNA” FOUNDATION

In the 2026–2027 academic year, 220 prospective students from 38 higher and postgraduate educational institutions across the country were awarded educational grants by the “Kazakhstan Halqyna” Public Foundation. Among them were 12 prospective students from the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The “Kazakhstan Halqyna” Foundation’s educational grant programme has been running since 2022. It aims to support prospective students in need of social assistance, providing young people from rural areas, small towns and single-industry towns with the opportunity to obtain a higher education.

In 2026, the grants were allocated across three categories. These included orphans and children left without parental care before reaching the age of majority, people with disabilities, as well as applicants from families raising children with disabilities under the age of 18, living in rural areas, small towns and single-industry towns.

Grant recipients were selected in accordance with the concept for the provision of educational grants and the model for the selection of applicants for 2026, approved by Resolution No.105 of the Fund’s Board of Trustees dated 22 June 2026.

The list of applicants who were awarded educational grants following the selection process was approved by Resolution No.34 of the Fund’s Management Board dated  September 9^th 2026.
