KORKYT ATA UNIVERSITY REPRESENTATIVE PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR IN CHINA

Samal Ilyassova, Head of the Legal support and public procurement department at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, participated in a two-week international seminar in the People’s Republic of China entitled “China’s experience in achieving the UN sustainable development goals: smart manufacturing and industrial innovation”.

During the seminar, participants attended lectures on artificial intelligence, robotics, smart manufacturing, 5G technologies, 3D printing, and sustainable development. They also learned about the experience and best practices of leading Chinese universities and organizations.

The practical part of the program included visits to technology companies, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and digital agriculture sites. Participants observed the application of artificial intelligence and robotics in manufacturing and explored innovative developments such as underwater robots and robotic fish.

The seminar also covered China’s concept of “Lucid waters and lush mountains”, urban greening practices, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the future labor market. Besides, participants discussed the potential use of artificial intelligence and digital avatars of lecturers in higher education.

As part of the program, the participants visited Shanghai, Qingdao, and Hangzhou, where they explored China’s historical and cultural landmarks.
