Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University NJSC announces a competition for the following vacant position at the Botanical Garden and Greenhouse Facility

The following documents must be submitted to participate in the competition:

1)     Application for participation in the competition;

2)     Copy of the applicant’s identity document;

3)     Applicant’s employment record (CV) with a colour photograph measuring 3 × 4 cm;

4)     Copies of education certificates and their supplements, with the originals presented for verification;

5)     Copy of a document confirming employment history, certified by the human resources department at the applicant’s current or most recent place of employment;

6)     List of research publications and inventions, if available;

7)     Medical Certificate, Form No. 075/u (Medical Professional Advisory Opinion), in accordance with Order No. RK HCM-175/2020 of the Acting Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30 October 2020 (registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 4 November 2020 under No. 21579);

8)     Certificate issued by the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan confirming the presence or absence of criminal offence records.

Failure to submit the complete set of documents specified in this list constitutes grounds for refusing to accept the application.

Applicants may submit additional information concerning their education and professional qualifications, including a list of academic publications and references from the management of their previous place of employment, as well as documents confirming their professional experience and qualifications.

The Research Associate must be aware of: The objectives and tasks of the research and development activities being conducted; relevant domestic and international research and development information; modern methods and tools for planning and organizing research and development, conducting experiments and observations, and compiling and processing information, including through the use of computer technology; the fundamentals of legislation governing science; labour legislation; internal workplace regulations; and fire safety requirements.

Qualification requirements for the Research Associate: Higher and/or postgraduate education in the relevant field and at least three years of relevant professional experience. No work experience is required for applicants who hold an academic degree, have completed doctoral studies or have undertaken a professional internship.

The deadline for submitting applications is 5:00 p.m. on 3 October 2026. The date and venue of the competition will be announced additionally.
