Competition for the vacant position of member of the Management Board – Vice-Rector for research and international relations of the “Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University” non-profit joint-stock company

The Board of Directors of the “Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University” Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company announces a competition for the vacant position of Member of the Management Board – Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations of the “Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University” Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company, located at: 29A Aiteke Bi Street, Kyzylorda.

The principal activity of the University is the provision of educational services in the fields of higher, postgraduate, technical and vocational, secondary, post-secondary, and supplementary education.

The purpose of the University’s activities is to create the necessary conditions for obtaining quality education, learning and teaching aimed at the formation, development, and professional growth of individuals based on national and universal values and the achievements of science and practice, as well as to develop research capacity and commercialize research and development outcomes.

Requirements for applicants:

1)    higher and postgraduate education;

2)    at least 3 years of experience in managerial positions in educational organizations and/or authorized bodies in the relevant fields.

The following persons are not eligible to participate in the competition:

1)    persons under twenty-five years of age;

2)    persons who have previously committed a corruption-related offense;

3)    persons with an unexpunged or outstanding criminal conviction;

4)    persons registered with specialized medical institutions;

5)    persons falling under other restrictions stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Applicants wishing to participate in the competition must submit the following documents:

1)    an application in the prescribed form;

2)    a copy of the applicant’s identity document;

3)    the applicant’s employment record/CV in the prescribed form with a color photograph measuring 3×4 cm;

4)    copies of education certificates/diplomas and their supplements, with the originals presented for verification:

-         copies of education documents obtained by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from foreign educational institutions must be accompanied by copies of certificates confirming the recognition or nostrification of such education documents issued by the authorized body in the field of education, except for education documents issued by foreign higher education institutions, research centers, and laboratories to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are recipients of the Bolashak International Scholarship, as well as documents covered by an international treaty (agreement) on mutual recognition and equivalence;

-         copies of education documents issued to recipients of the Bolashak International Scholarship must be accompanied by a copy of the certificate confirming completion of studies under the Bolashak International Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, issued by the Center for International Programs Joint-Stock Company;

-         copies of education documents covered by an international treaty (agreement) on mutual recognition and equivalence must be accompanied by copies of certificates confirming the recognition of such education documents issued by the authorized body in the field of education;

1)    a copy of a document confirming employment history, certified by the HR department at the applicant’s current or most recent place of employment;

2)    a medical certificate on the applicant’s state of health (medical professional advisory conclusion), Form No. 075/u;

3)    a certificate from a psychoneurological organization issued no more than one year prior to the date of submission of documents, in accordance with the legislation on public services;

4)    a certificate from a narcological organization issued no more than one year prior to the date of submission of documents, in accordance with the legislation on public services;

5)    a document confirming the absence of any prohibition on holding the position in accordance with criminal legislation.

Applicants may also submit additional information concerning their education, work experience, professional qualifications, and reputation, including copies of professional development certificates, documents confirming academic degrees and titles, references, letters of recommendation, scientific publications, and other information describing their professional activities and qualifications.

Applications and supporting documents for participation in the competition will be accepted within 10 (ten) calendar days from the date of publication of this announcement. The date and venue of the competition will be announced additionally.
