Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University invites doctoral students and academic staff of the Institute of Natural Sciences, the Institute of Engineering and Technology, and the Institute of Economics and Law to participate in the Dubna International Scientific and Educational School, which will be held on 15–21 November 2026 in Dubna, Russian Federation.

The programme of the Scientific and Educational School will address the following topics:

• the role of young people in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals;
• assessment and monitoring of sustainable development indicators;
• development of scientific and educational activities in the CIS countries;
• expansion of young scientists’ access to research infrastructure;
• improvement of research effectiveness;
• development of international scientific cooperation and exchange of experience;
• strengthening of academic and cultural ties among young researchers.

Participants who successfully complete the full programme will be awarded a certificate confirming their completion of training at the Dubna International Scientific and Educational School.

Participants will be selected through a competitive selection process.

Eligibility requirements:

• applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral programme or employed as an academic staff member at one of the institutes listed above;
• proficiency in Russian;
• at least one scientific publication in a journal recommended by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan or indexed in the Scopus database.

Documents required for application:

• an application from the doctoral student or academic staff member, endorsed by the head of the educational programme and the director of the institute;
• a curriculum vitae (CV);
• a list of scientific publications and supporting documents.

The organisers will cover the costs of tuition, travel, accommodation, and meals.

Application deadline: 8 October 2026, 5:00 p.m.
