ANNOUNCEMENT of a competition for students under the academic mobility programme

The International Relations department of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University announces a call for applications for the academic mobility programme for the spring semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. Successful applicants will study in English at the following partner universities:

• University of Lodz, Poland — 20 February–7 July 2027;
• Howest University of Applied Sciences, Belgium — 1 February–28 June 2027;
• International Black Sea University, Tbilisi, Georgia — 15 February–30 June 2027.

The University of Lodz, Poland, offers study programmes at the following faculties:

• Faculty of Law and Administration;
• Faculty of Economics and Sociology;
• Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection;
• Faculty of Geographical Sciences;
• Faculty of International and Political Studies;
• Faculty of Philosophy and History;
• Faculty of Management;
• Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science;
• Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics;
• Faculty of Chemistry;
• Faculty of Educational Sciences;
• Faculty of Philology: foreign languages and Russian, cultural and media studies, and journalism.

Howest University of Applied Sciences, Belgium, offers the following study programmes:

• Artificial Intelligence Engineer;
• Applied Computer Science I and II.

International Black Sea University, Tbilisi, Georgia, offers the English Language and Literature study programme.

Undergraduate and master’s students, except those in their final year of study, are eligible to participate in the competition.

In accordance with the bilateral agreements between the universities, tuition is free of charge. Students are responsible for covering their own round-trip travel expenses, medical insurance, visa fees, and dormitory accommodation costs.

Applicants must submit the following documents:

1.    An application addressed to the Head of the University, including the student’s full details: institute, degree programme, group, passport details, residential address, and email address;

2.    A transcript of current academic performance in electronic format from Platonus, with a minimum GPA of 3.0;

3.    An IELTS or TOEFL certificate, if available;

4.    Applicants who do not hold an IELTS or TOEFL certificate must take the University’s institutional English language test on 14 October 2026 at 4:30 p.m. in the Majilis Hall of the University’s main building.
