INSIGHTFUL MEETING CELEBRATING NATIONAL VALUES HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University hosted a meeting entitled “National Values and the Identity of a Kazakh Woman” with Bakhytzhamal Shakhankyzy, an Excellence in Education Award holder of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Freelance Adviser to the Governor of Pavlodar region on Gender Equality.

The meeting aimed to highlight such qualities traditionally associated with Kazakh women as modesty, courtesy, education, diligence, and patriotism, and to promote them in connection with national values.

The participants discussed the importance of Kazakh customs and traditions and family upbringing, the role of Kazakh women in modern society, and the need for education and professional development. They exchanged views on shaping individuals who meet the demands of the modern world while preserving their national identity and shared valuable insights with the younger generation.

The event was attended by Nursaule Mussayeva, Director of the Regional Language Teaching Centre under the Kyzylorda Regional Department of Public Development; Gulmira Bazarbaikyzy, an entrepreneur and mother of many children; Zhanar Sagynbayeva, Head of the Social and Educational Affairs Department; and university students.

The meeting was moderated by Saltanat Bizhigitkyzy, Chairwoman of the Youth Affairs Committee and a first-year master’s student in the Teacher Training in Kazakh Language and Literature educational programme.

The insightful meeting concluded with musical performances by the students.
