The holders of the presidential scholarship became known

21 students of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University became holders of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Presidential Scholarship is awarded to students who are excellent students and have distinguished themselves by their activity in the social activities of the university.

— After enrolling in the university, I often participated in art competitions, in parallel with my studies I tried to develop my creative abilities, — says Gulnaz Ongar, a 3rd-year student of the specialty "Chemistry-Biology". — Since the 2nd year, I have developed an interest in scientific work. Together with my supervisor, we conducted a study on the preparation of ointments from sheep tail fat. Also, together with the students of the Green Chemistry club, we made natural soap from plants grown in our region, prepared a drink from the zhantak tree useful for kidneys. I am glad that the size of scholarships has increased since this year, this is a great opportunity for young people.

Nazym Balgarayeva, who was included in the top hundred students of the country, also received a presidential scholarship this year.

I am studying in the 3rd year of the specialty "Pedagogy and methods of primary education". I am currently engaged in research work in the field of pedagogy and psychology. And thanks to an article about the difficulties of primary school education, I became one of the "100 best young scientists" of the country. The presidential scholarship gives great motivation. Some students work extra hours and earn additional funds. But now there is a chance to become the best and get a high scholarship," she said.

It is worth noting that the Scholarship is awarded to full-time students from the 3rd year and undergraduates from the second year of study who study only with "excellent" (A, A-), both on the basis of a state educational order and on a paid basis.

The scholarship is awarded to the following categories of students:

1) winners of national and international Olympiads, creative contests, sports competitions, festivals or who are the authors of discoveries, inventions;

2) having publications in collections of scientific papers, in national and international scientific journals;

 3) actively engaged in research work, whose successes are confirmed by diplomas, diplomas, certificates, certificates;

4) taking an active part in the social, cultural and sports life of educational organizations.
