Alizhan Almatov-champion of the international tournament

Astana hosted the ASIA OPEN 2023 tournament among children, teenagers, youth and adults. About 1200 athletes from Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and Kazakhstan took part in the competition.

Among the defenders of our country is a student of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Alizhan Almatov. He participated in the 58 kg weight category and became the champion.

It should be noted that following the results of the tournament, a national team of athletes who have shown high results will be formed and prepared for international competitions. This year they will take part in the World Championship in Poland.
