Volleyball and darts competitions among women

March 8 – in honor of the International Women's Day, traditional volleyball and darts competitions were held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

About 70 university employees took part in the healthy lifestyle event, strengthening ties between colleagues.

Nurlan Urazbayev, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Finance of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Aitzhan Orazbakov, teachers, students and media representatives took part in the awarding ceremony of the tournament winners.

- Women symbolize kindness and tenderness. They make a significant contribution to the development of socio-economic spheres of the country.

Women's volleyball and darts competitions are held annually at the university. This is a traditional sports event with the aim of increasing team cohesion," said Nurlan Zhetkergenovich.

According to the results of the tournament in volleyball competitions, the first place was taken by the team of the Institute of Natural Sciences, the second place was taken by the team of the Rector's Office, the third place was taken by the team of the Engineering and Technological Institute.

According to the results of the darts competitions, the first place was taken by the team of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, the second place by the Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute, the third place by the Team of the Institute of Natural Sciences.

The winners were awarded diplomas and prizes of the university's trade union committee. Also, the best players were awarded in 6 nominations.
