"The musical legacy of Malik Zhappasbayev"

The presentation of the research work of the Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), conductor Muslim Amze took place at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The book is dedicated to the work of composer, kuishi, conductor Malik Zhappasbayev, who contributed to the development of the Kazakh orchestra and conducting art. The Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna took part in the solemn presentation of the book "The Musical legacy of Malik Zhappasbayev", highly appreciating the work and creativity of Muslim Baltabaevich.

Muslim Amze is the compiler of the anthology of dombra kuys "Mangilik saryn", anthology collections "1000 Kazakh traditional kuys", "Shahnama", music editor of anthology collections "Kazakstannyn muzykalyk murasy", "Kazakstandagy ethnostardyn muzykalyk muralary". For thirty years, who contributed to the development of the sphere of culture, was awarded the badges "Kurmet gramotasy" of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Madeniyet salasyn uzdigi", the honorary title "Kazakstannyn enbek sinirgen kayratkeri", "Certificate of Honor" of the Akim of the Kyzylorda region and the jubilee medal of the International Organization Turksoy "M. Tulebaev – 100 zhyl".

"Currently, it is very difficult to make discoveries in science. Muslim Amze is a scientist who, first of all, is a performer, and secondly, is engaged in creativity and science. The textbook contains a lot of valuable information. This work will contribute to the development of musical art in the Syr region and its further continuation," said the director of the Kazangap Higher Music College, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Philology, Zhyrshy Ulzhan Baybosynova.

The name of Malik Zhappasbayev is rarely found in Kazakh music. In the history of the Kurmangazy State Academic Orchestra of Kazakh Folk Instruments, two kuishi bear a special name. One of them is Malik Zhappasbayev, kuishi of the Syr region. In his work, the author summarized the musical heritage of the outstanding artist.

The reviewer of the book, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Sharban Maigeldieva: "The scientific work is aesthetic, structurally very high-quality. A valuable textbook aimed at the needs of society, improving the quality of training of specialists."

The solemn line was attended by artists, media representatives, guests, faculty and students of the university.

The gala evening at the Tokmagambetov House of Culture continued with a concert of the orchestra of Kazakh folk instruments named after Turmagambet "Salem", dedicated to the work of Kuishi, composer, conductor Malik Zhappasbayev.
