Winner of the international aitys of young akyns

A student of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University, Zhambyl Bakhytalievich, took the III place in the international aitys of young akyns "Menin pirim – Suyinbai".

About forty poets from all over the Republic, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China and Mongolia took part in the competitions organized by the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.

The creativity of the young akyns was evaluated by the jury headed by the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the holder of the orders "Parasat" and "Kurmet" Zhursin Erman. The jury also included Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of international and republican aitys Serik Kaliyev, knight of the Order of "Kurmet", holder of the title "Aitystyn Aktangeri" Bekarys Shoybekov, winner of the "Altyn Dombyra" competition in 2020, akyn improviser Rustem Kayyrtayuly, Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, laureate of the state youth award "Daryn" Yerzhan Kosbarmak, cultural worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the International Zhambyl Foundation Manarbek Izbasar.

"It was the first time I participated in an international competition. Aitys consisted of two stages. 18 akyns passed to the final stage. The competition was held at a high level. I would like to express my gratitude to the staff of the university, who showed their trust and support," Zhambyl Bakytalievich said.

Young Akyn was born in the Trans-Ili region of China. In 2019, he returned to the country and is currently studying at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University in the 3rd year of the specialty "Journalism".
