Academician Askar Zhumadildaev met with Kyzylorda scientists

Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumadildayev met with the teaching staff of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board-Rector of the University Beibitkul Karimova familiarized with the scientific potential of the university. Noting the expansion of the university's international relations, Seoul National Technical University (Seoul) will work on the development of an information technology and artificial intelligence project.

During the meeting, Askar Zhumadildayev focused on the development of science, support for young people in science. It was about the potential of the National Academy of Sciences, the employment of scientists in the Academy, the exchange of experience. He also published scientific journals and through the media noted that the interest of schoolchildren and students in science is relevant.

In turn, the scientists shared their suggestions and ideas about holding competitions for scientific projects and requirements for the publication of scientific articles.

Now more than ten thousand students study at the university. Of these, 621 students study in the physics and mathematics direction. Of these, 483 are undergraduate students, 129 are undergraduates, 9 are doctoral students.

It is worth noting that the international competition of young mathematicians for the prizes of academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumadildaev has started in Kyzylorda.

About 1,700 applications were registered for the competition from all regions of the country, as well as from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia. 100 selected participants compete in the competition. The traditional competition has been held since 2014 among young mathematicians of the city of Kyzylorda.
