V.I. Trukhachev met with the fellows of the Bolashak International Program

At a meeting with the Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor V.I. Trukhachev, participants of the international scholarship program "Bolashak" discussed the results of the internship at the university. As part of the event, the head of the university presented a certificate to the first scholarship holder who successfully completed an internship at the Timiryazev Academy, S.U. Kosanov.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, Rector Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev noted that Timiryazev Academy is one of 8 Russian universities recommended for training Kazakhstani specialists and researchers under the Bolashak scholarship program. The University, possessing the brand quality of fundamental knowledge in the field of agriculture, makes every possible effort to broadcast the accumulated experience to foreign colleagues.

Currently, certain results of the university's participation in the scholarship program have been achieved – Samalbek Urazbaevich Kosanov, Dean of the Institute of Natural Sciences of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, completed a three-month internship at the Timiryazev Academy. The corresponding document on academic mobility was presented to the graduate of the Bolashak program by V.I. Trukhachev.

- I preferred Timiryazevka to European universities, since this university is a classic of agricultural education and science. In three months I was able to visit most of the departments of the university, get acquainted with scientists and their work, take part in round tables and take a refresher course. For all the results achieved, I would like to express my great gratitude to the management and staff of the Timiryazev Academy," S.U. Kosanov said.

The first results of the internship in Timiryazevka under the Bolashak program were also shared by the head of the Department of Standardization and Food Technologies of the M. Dulatov Kostanay University of Engineering and Economics Gainiya Kalimzhanovna Yeseeva and an employee of the Kazakh Research Veterinary Institute Zhanar Sovetbergenovna Tursynova. Currently, they continue to adopt the experience of the scientists of the RGAU-MSHA.

The meeting was also attended by scientific supervisors of trainees from the Timiryazev Academy – Acting Director of the Institute of Animal Science and Biology Yusupzhan Artykovich Yuldashbayev, Acting Head of the Department of Vegetable Growing Vera Ivanovna Terekhova, Head of the Department of Botany, Breeding and Seed Production of Garden Plants Socrates Grigorievich Monakhos, Acting Head of the Department of Technology of Storage and Processing of Fruit and Vegetable and Plant Products Sergey Maslovsky and the head of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology Olga Valentinovna Selitskaya.

The Bolashak International Scholarship was established in 1993. Its purpose is training, retraining and advanced training of personnel and specialists for priority sectors of the economy in leading companies and universities around the world. Over the years, more than 11 thousand people have received the scholarship.
