Kyzylorda schoolchildren made various products from household waste

June 5 – in honor of the World Day of Environmental Protection, an environmental action was held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

At the event "Turning waste into income", schoolchildren recycled household waste and made various products.

The main goal of the campaign is to educate young people about environmental protection, recycling of household waste and manufacturing of products.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University Beibitkul Karimova.

At the event, students made souvenirs, figurines, dishes made of plastic, bottles, plaster, paper, sushi sticks, bags, fabric, cellophane.

A student of school  No. 120, Unzila Narzhigit, made a yurt and accessories from a plastic box of sour cream, a bag and paper.

The student of "Ulagat bilim Ordasy" Birganym Temirbay made a figurine of a rhinoceros from a tetrapak, a souvenir from cans and sushi sticks.

Nurislam Dimbergen, a student of the boarding lyceum of the specialized school No. 285, made fairy-tale characters, figurines of animals and birds from wood waste. By the decision of the jury, the student took the first place.

The second place was taken by a student of the school "Ulagat bilim Ordasy" Meyran Kurbanbai, a student of school No. 120 Yerkin Zhappar.

The third place was taken by Simbat Sapabek, a student of school No. 235, Uldana Serikbay, a student of school No. 197, Ayup Akbolat, a student of lyceum school No. 3.
