The delegation of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the scientific potential of the university

In order to develop regional science, the delegation of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with leading scientists of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, heads of regional departments.

The delegation first inspected the material and technical base and visited the scientific infrastructure of the university.

First, we got acquainted with the best projects ready for commercialization in the laboratory of engineering profile "Physico-chemical methods of analysis". Now scientists are implementing the project "Creation of new substituted skeleton phosphonates of potentially active symmetrical and asymmetrical type in the therapy of various animal and human diseases" within the framework of grant funding. Scientists are also engaged in the synthesis of multifunctional biologically active substances.

Then they visited the scientific center "Mustafa Shokai". Within the framework of grant funding, the center conducts research on the projects "Historical and factual value of manuscripts in the legacy of Mustafa Shokai", "Ideals of statehood of M. Shokai: lessons of history, ideological continuity".

The delegation also got acquainted with the work of the scientific center "Archeology and Ethnography". Within the framework of grant funding, the center is implementing work on "Updating the archaeological heritage of Eastern Aralsk (systematization of new archival data of the Khorezm archaeological and ethnographic expedition)". In addition, archaeological excavations at the site of the medieval city of Zhankent continued this year.

Representatives of the Academy visited the Scientific and Educational Center of Chemical and Biological research named after T. D. Kuanyshbayev, the educational and research laboratory "General and Inorganic Chemistry" named after A. Tapalova, the microbiological research center named after A. Sadanov, the scientific and Methodological Center of Chemical Education named after K. Saduakaskyzy, the Museum of Water Management named after honored hydraulic engineer M.Nalibayeva.

At the meeting, Director of the Department of Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Ruslan Nurlybayev noted that science is very important in solving regional problems.

"The Academy pays special attention to the science of the region. We have specially invited representatives of executive state bodies to the event. The National Academy of Sciences cooperates with scientists to solve problems related to this field. Thus, we open a wide path for both science and scientists," Ruslan Ergalievich noted.

The Academy delegation also took part in a press conference at the regional communications service and reported on the work done on the development of science.
