Shinhan University and Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University are implementing joint projects

Representatives of the Shinhan University of the Republic of Korea arrived at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University on a working visit. 

Members of the delegation – Director of the Shinhan University Research Center Kim Junkyu, Head of the research Center Li Yankei met with Acting Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Issues Zhandos Bazartai, heads of structural divisions and teaching staff.

The meeting discussed the implementation of a new project in the fields of ecology, electricity and agriculture. In the future, work will be carried out on training joint educational programs, strengthening the material and technical base.

At the meeting, a memorandum was signed between the Foundation for Cooperation of Industrial and Academic Research Activities of the Shinhan University of the Republic of Korea and the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.  

Acting Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Zhandos Bazartai presented the academic and scientific potential of the institution, as well as the strategic development course.

During the meeting, the Kazakh–Korean joint research laboratory "Kazakhstan-Republic of Korea Joint Laboratory of Convergent technologies E³" was officially opened on the basis of a bilateral contract of universities.

The guests got acquainted with the laboratory of engineering profile "Methods of physico-chemical analysis", the Museum of Water Management named after the Honored hydraulic Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.Nalibayev. In addition, they visited the memorial of the national hero of the Korean people, Hong Bom Do, and paid their respects.

It should be noted that in May 2023, a delegation led by the university leadership visited a number of leading universities in South Korea, including Shinhan University, and as a result of the meeting, an agreement on mutual cooperation was reached.

As a feedback, on July 5 of this year, a delegation led by Shinhan University President Kang Song Jeong visited Korkyt Ata University and signed a bilateral memorandum on the development of joint research projects in the field of research and education, exchange of knowledge, experience and other relevant information.
