An agreement has been signed with the Center for Korean History and Culture

In order to get acquainted with the history and culture of the Syr region, high school students and students of the Republic of South Korea came to Kyzylorda. The expedition was led by Vice Admiral of the Korean Navy Shin Chang Yi, Executive Director of the Korean Center for History and Culture Ko Chin Ho, Secretary General of the Center for History and Culture Chong Kang Won.

A meeting with the Korean delegation was held at the House of Friendship, at which the cooperation between the Kyzylorda and Korea.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt Kyzylorda University Beibitkul Karimova noted the strengthening of the university's international relations with Korea. In particular, the school of artificial intelligence of Seoul National University of Science and Technology will be opened on the basis of the university, which will allow the two countries to develop in the field of education and science, implement joint research projects.

At the meeting, an agreement was signed on the exchange of experience in the field of education of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and the Center for Korean History and Culture. By agreement, joint research projects in the field of education, history, culture, and social development will be implemented in the future.

The Korean delegation also got acquainted with the fund of the department "Manuscripts and rare books" in the university library. Rare books and manuscripts in Korean aroused great interest among the guests.
