A new football field has been put into operation

An open football field was opened at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of the University Beibitkul Karimova noted that the new football field was built in accordance with the standards.

- Educated, purposeful youth leading a healthy lifestyle is our bright future. We always support them to play sports professionally and participate in national and international competitions.

We are also systematically working to strengthen the material and technical base of the university. Currently, the university has a sports and recreation complex "Seyhun", 7 gyms, 5 summer sports grounds, 1 sports museum.

 We are proud of our sports youth, who glorify our country. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Department "Physical Culture and Initial military training", - said Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna.

Currently, the university has 13 sports sections in various sports. 9 winners and prize–winners of the World Championship, 23 of the Asian Championship, 125 of the Kazakhstan championship.

At the solemn meeting, the director of the football club "Kaysar", Honorary Sports Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sadyk Mustafa noted that the improvement of sports infrastructure contributes to the professional skills of students.

- The opening of the football field was a great gift for students studying in the specialty of Physical Culture and sports. On this football field in front of the academic building, we will prepare for the upcoming competitions," said student Nurzat Amanbai.

At the event, industry specialists were awarded the "Korkyt Ata Gold Medal" with the "Uzdik Tulek" medal.

It is worth noting that in the Republican Student League, teams from among university students take part in 7 sports (basketball, volleyball, futsal, table tennis, togyzkumalak, kazaksha kures, chess) and take prizes.

At the XII Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan, university athletes won 37 medals in 16 sports and became the best in the Republic.

The university has departments of "Physical culture and initial military training", "Physical culture" in the field of physical culture and sports.
