20 grants for the winners of the subject Olympiad

There was an award ceremony for the winners of the subject Olympiad, where graduates were awarded 20 educational grants at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The subject Olympiad was organized by the University in the period from April 16 to May 11 in 18 subjects that are on the unified national testing.

1,224 students from schools of the region took part in the competition. At the first stage they passed a test via e-univer.korkyt.kz, in the second stage they performed creative tasks. As a result of the Olympiad, 20 students were awarded internal educational grants for 15 educational programs of the University.

At the awarding ceremony, the Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Karimova noted that the strongest were determined at the Olympiad.

- The subject Olympiad is a test that determines what profession a student is inclined to, differentiates knowledge indicators. In such educational competitions, the real best are determined.

This year, the winners of the subject Olympiad were awarded 20 grants from Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

Among them, 3 educational grants in the subjects "History of Kazakhstan"," Kazakh literature", "Kazakh language" were awarded on behalf of the outstanding statesman Temirbek Zhurgenov. Temirbek Zhurgenov's activity for the country, his life path imposes a great responsibility on our future young people, who are entrusted with the reins of independence.

2 grants on the subject "Mathematics" were awarded by the University on behalf of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Bakhytzhan Sailybayev, who worked tirelessly for many years at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

We are glad that the number of students at the university will be replenished with talented young people in the coming academic year. I am sure that educated and purposeful students will become high-quality specialists who meet the expectations of the country, - said Beibitkul Sarsemkhankyzy.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Public Foundation T. Zhurgenov Amit Zhumagulov, Artur Suleimenov, Amir Shaimagambetov and the son of Bakytzhan Sailybayev, a law enforcement officer Adil Sailybayev, who presented grants to students.

"It should be noted that the regional Olympiad in Journalism, Biology was held jointly with Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and the Republican scientific and practical Center "Daryn". The organization of students' participation in the Olympiad was carried out with the support of the Department of Education of Kyzylorda region.
