Scientist Azilkhan Tazhekeev gained work experience in Croatia

The course was attended by the head of the Center for "Archeology and Ethnography" of our University, Ph.D. Tazhekeev Azilkhan. The course includes lectures and new methods of processing artifacts discovered during archaeological research. Lectures and practical classes on cleaning, processing, conservation, restoration of metal, organics, ceramics, glass were organized.

Zadar is a city in Croatia with a three-thousand-year history. The city, known for its resort areas, is the administrative, economic, historical and cultural center of Northern Dalmatia. In addition, an introductory course was organized with natural and historical sites (architectural monuments, museums, national park).

The participation of the scientist abroad was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Zadar International Center for Underwater Archaeology.
