Graduates of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University became prize-winners of the XIX Asian Games

At the XIX Summer Asian Games in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, graduates of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University won a bronze medal in judo.

On the first day of the Summer Asian Games, Magzhan Shamshadin won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 60 kg. In the fight for the third place, he defeated Merzod Sufiev from Tajikistan.

Abylaіkhan Zhubanazar, competing in the weight class up to 81 kg, defeated Muso Sobirov from Uzbekistan in the fight for the bronze medal.

In the fight for the third place in the weight category up to 100 kilograms, Nurlykhan Sharkhan was stronger than Yong Hong Won from South Korea.

All three graduates of the university graduated from the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University with a degree in Physical Culture and Sports.

It is worth noting that the athletes are members of the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  Magzhan Shamshadin and Abylaykhan Zhubanazar are masters of sports of the international class of the Republic of Kazakhstan in judo, and Nurlykhan Sharkhan are masters of sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
