Students discussed the President's Message

At the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, together with students, the analysis of the Message of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "The Economic Course of a Fair Kazakhstan" continues.

Candidate of Economic Sciences, Senior lecturer of the Department of Economics and Management Abai Shainurov made a report on the topic "Reasonable market tariff policy".

The scientist focused on the specifics of the Message and noted that almost 90 percent of the document is devoted to economic areas.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address "The Economic Course of a Fair Kazakhstan" noted that "It is necessary to radically revise the tariff policy, introduce a new methodology for setting tariffs and increase the interest of investors. It is advisable to introduce a reasonable market tariff for all natural monopoly entities for a period of 5-7 years. That is, if the price is stable, you can accurately plan investments. Financial institutions can also lend to businesses with confidence. At the same time, it is necessary to significantly increase the responsibility of monopolists. Digital management methods are being introduced in this area. Thus, our citizens will receive information about the tariff estimates and investment programs."

The students got acquainted with the tasks announced in the Message, exchanged opinions.
