The Student Youth Union is responsible to the Rector for the state of the universities and institutes delegated to it in the field of performance management of the Student Youth Union and structures.

The main tasks of the Union of Student Youth:

- implementation of youth policy at the university;
- participation in the organization and improvement of the educational process at the university, institutes, groups, development of the creative potential of student groups;
- organization of students' research work;
- assistance in the implementation of cultural and mass work of the university;
- establishment of close ties with youth public organizations, the highest authorities of the region on youth issues of the university;
