The main tasks of the Union of Student Youth:

- Formation of a sense of Kazakhstani patriotism and responsible citizenship among young people, respect for the state symbols of the Republic, cultural heritage, language and traditions of the people of Kazakhstan;
- Involvement of young people in the processes of building a democratic, socially just society;
- Assistance in the implementation of the State youth policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Participation in activities for the protection of political, economic, social and other rights of young people;
- Promoting the formation of youth culture, improving the educational, intellectual and professional level of youth;
- Assistance in the development of youth entrepreneurship, assistance in the employment of university students;
- Support and implementation of socially significant youth initiatives;
- Education of young people in the spirit of respect, care and kindness to the older generation;
- Cooperation with youth organizations and civil society institutions of other countries and the conclusion of relevant agreements.
