- development of a new resource-saving and environmentally friendly technology for irrigation of forage crops and tree plantations with wastewater and the scientific basis for breeding forage crops.
The agro-climatic, soil, land and water resources of the Kyzylorda region make it possible to successfully grow agricultural crops and obtain high yields. At the same time, the existing irrigation techniques and technologies used in the technology of growing traditional agricultural crops do not allow the full use of the potential opportunities of irrigated agriculture.
In conditions of extremely limited water resources and paid water use, the most important condition for increasing the efficiency of crop production on irrigated lands in the south of the country is the large-scale introduction of water-saving techniques and irrigation technologies and resource-saving technologies of land cultivation using treated wastewater. This makes it possible to obtain stable, competitive agricultural products on irrigated lands.
According to Section 7, "Requirements for the Expected Results upon Completion of Scientific and (or) Scientific-Technical Programs," of the Competition Documentation for Program-Targeted Funding of Scientific and Scientific-Technical Programs for 2023–2025, approved by Order No. 92-НЖ of the Chair of the Science Committee dated 19 June 2023, the expected outcomes of the research are as follows:
