The composition of the club

The student club "Green Chemistry" is intended for students of educational programs 6B01515 – Chemistry, 6B01516 – Chemistry – Biology, 7M01515 – Chemistry, 8D01515 – Chemistry. The club operates on the basis of the scientific and educational center for Chemical and Biological Research named after T.D. Kuanyshbayev.  The scientific director of the «Green Chemistry» club is Professor Candidate of Chemical Sciences Gulmira Minbayevna Abyzbekova. Student leader club is Zaure Kurbanbayeva Ondaganova 1st year undergraduate of the Master's degree program 7M01515 - "Chemistry". The circle has 68 undergraduate students of 1-4 courses, 35 undergraduates and 7 doctoral students, a total of 110 members of the circle.

Brief information about the club's activities:

The purpose of the «Green Chemistry»

- promotion of the role of chemical science in solving the most important problems of mankind, creation of conditions for conducting research in the field of green chemistry, formation of research competencies and green skills of students.

The main directions of the circle's work:

1. Obtaining natural functional food additives;

2. Obtaining green products based on extracts of local plants;

3. Creation of natural products based on vegetable and animal fat;

4. Investigation of the process of obtaining metal nanoparticles;

5. Green chemical education.
