Social Work Cabinet

The social sphere is one of the most dynamically developing spheres of Kazakhstani society. Social workers are specialists with the highest moral and ethical principles of human culture. Their demand in the labor market and in the life of our society is steadily growing. All this opens up great opportunities for professional and personal development and growth of our graduates.

Objects of professional activity of a social worker:

-  Government structures (akimats of all levels, departments of education, culture, youth affairs committees);

-  Institutions and organizations of social protection authorities (pension payment centers, employment and social programs departments);

-  Educational institutions (extracurricular institutions, general education schools of all types and levels, boarding schools, orphanages);

-  Healthcare institutions (medical and preventive, correctional and rehabilitation institutions);

-  social service institutions (boarding schools for single and elderly citizens, social assistance departments at home for children with disabilities or for single and elderly people);

-  correctional and rehabilitation centers, family and child care centers;

-  Juvenile affairs inspections, social shelters;

-  Cultural and leisure services (youth clubs, children's and youth homes).

On December 12, 2024, the grand opening of the specialized auditorium for the Social Work program took place. The office is equipped with the necessary equipment for the organization and implementation of the educational process (TV, computer equipment, Internet, demonstration stands).

Our goal is to train competitive social work specialists who are in demand on the labor market. The social well-being and stability of Kazakhstan's society as a whole, and of each citizen of Kazakhstan individually, largely depends on their professionalism.
